COVID-19 Patient Information

We hope that you have been keeping healthy and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We continue to be here to serve you.

We would like to update you by providing you with an outline of what we are doing in terms of  on-going care, what you need to do in terms of your overall health and protection, and how to proceed if you have specific symptoms that may be suggestive of COVID-19. Our WALK-IN CLINIC is closed at this time.

We are available to advise you if you are concerned about what to do if you have been exposed to the virus or are concerned that you may have symptoms. Please feel free to call your local Public Health Unit (in Toronto, the number is 416-338-7600) or Telehealth Ontario (1-866-797-0000). Certainly, if you have significant upper respiratory tract infection symptoms, shortness of breath, chest pain, etc, you should go to the Emergency Department. We appreciate your commitment to our office and the trust you have in your providers of care.

How Appointments Work

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made required changes to the clinic flow in order to keep you, your healthcare providers and the community safe. We want to reassure you that your safety is our main priority.

CONTINUE ESSENTIAL SERVICES (IN CLINIC)  We continue to offer essential services, as usual. This includes pap smears, routine prenatal care, immunizations and newborn visits.

VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS  Virtual Appointments MAY be offered as an option for non-essential appointments with your provider for timely, but non-urgent concerns. This may include prescription renewals, blood pressure/diabetes checks, mental health concerns, and new, non-urgent concerns.

CALLS FROM YOUR DOCTOR: When your Doctor calls you, it may show on your phone as ‘Blocked Caller’ or ‘No Caller Id’. Please ensure your device is set to allow calls of this nature and that you are available to answer.
